I Fell On Ice That You Did Not Salt And Had To Go To The Emergency Room And Missed A Days Work And You Call And Tell Me You Won't Be Paying My Medical Or Missing Work You Could Care Less What Your Negligence Did To Me And My Family!!! Will Never In Life Recommend Anyone To Your Shameful Business!!! Sad Part Is Not One Time Did Any Of You Horrible Individuals Apologize Or Ask If I Was OK And It's Sad Really!!!

I really like going to this store! Had to do a little Xmas shopping and this store has probably anything you might need for your home, and then some. I also checked out their holiday decor and they have quite the selection! Was very surprised to see the amount of Christmas stuff they have! Everything I bought seemed to be very reasonably priced too!

So tonight my husband and I went in to by a new breaker for our house,we brought the old 1 with us to match up. When we walked in we were greater and we headed straight to the isle with the breakers. We ended up getting a few more things and headed to check out. I had the new breaker on the belt with the other items and I had the old breaker in my hamd and I set it by debit card machine. The cashier questioned the 1 I had with me and I told just as it was. We brought it in to match up. She snatches it off the counter and starts looking it over asking me if I was sure we brought it in with us. I said clearly it's old as hell looking. Paint is wore off. No barcode,clearly tell the screws have are aged. She makes a scene saying she needs to get her manager. Another girl comes over starts examining the breaker as well and says we need to hold on while they check our story. After 10 minutes I ask what the hold up is and she said we are just waiting to see if the girl by the door saw us come in with it. I have never been treated so rudely in menards before. Finally without 1 word the manager handed it back to me and walked away. Not even the cashier said a word. Even a we appreciate your patience or were sorry for the confusion. But no nothing. From here on out I think we will be going to home depot.

The first thing I was confronted with when I walked in was, “do you have a mask?” It would’ve been nice to have her confront me in a different manner. I was searching for one specific item in the plumbing section, but the only person available in that area was on the phone, but I couldn’t tell if he was on the phone or off because he was using an earpiece... so when he finally did get off the phone and asked what I needed I didn’t know if he was talking to me or not. He was not pleasant. He was not helpful. He had no personality whatsoever. He didn’t even leave the area when I asked him where I could find the item. He just pointed and he said, “they’re over there.” I just left. On my way to Home Depot!

I went to Menards design center in Janesville, WI to have them help me design a deck. The person I worked with was awesome, but the program Menards uses to tell you what products I needed to build my deck were WILDLY off.....12 post holes to be dug, 212 bags of concrete they sold me, then they are charging me to return it, and all the other extra stuff they told me I would need, and clearly didn't! Don't go here and get ripped off! $12,500 in materials I bought and paid for, and probably over $2,000 in stuff they told me I'd need and I don't. The Manager I spoke with, Tom A, was rude and condescending when I told him about my frustration, and refused to help me the the expense of the return. Totally took advantage of me, because if it was an honest mistake that they made, they wouldn't charge me to return the stuff! I trusted them, please don't make the same mistake I did....go somewhere else!
